Middleton St Mary's CE (VC) Primary School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the wellbeing of all of its pupils. Each pupil’s welfare is of paramount importance and we expect all members of the school community to share this commitment.

Keep your child safe - Social Media and Messaging Apps
In school we inform our children about how to keep safe online and what to do when they see something that they should not be seeing. We also ask that parents support school with this message and that parents feel empowered to know how to keep your safe online. Her are some links to parental controls. Please take a look:

Prevent
Here at Middleton St Mary's, we actively support the Prevent Agenda.
Prevent is a government strategy designed to stop people becoming terrorists or supporting terrorist or extremist causes.
The Prevent strategy covers all types of terrorism and extremism, including the extreme right wing, left wing, animal rights, environmental and splinter groups.
The government have released an online reporting tool for any person who wishes to report illegal or harmful information, pictures or videos that they have found on the internet.
