Middleton St Mary's CE (VC) Primary School

Breakfast Club

Each week day school morning, we run a Breakfast Club from 7.30am-8.45am. The club is based in the school hall. Parents MUST pre-book via the school office, completing a consent form. Breakfast Club is £2.50 per child per morning. Children receive cereal, a bagel, milk or water or a piece of fruit and sometimes scrambled egg and beans on toast - their choice! Children then engage in activities including colouring, table top board games, football, lego, listening to music, outdoor sports in the MUGA. Breakfast Club is run by our school staff with Miss Tate and Mrs Appleyard being the Breakfast Club Leads.

Children enter Breakfast Club via the playground and through the hall doors. Parents/Carers MUST sign their child into the club.

Middleton St Mary's is proud to be in partnership with Magic Breakfast, providing healthy breakfasts to our pupils so that they are settled and ready to learn. Magic Breakfast provides Middleton St Mary's with nutritious breakfast food to ensure children start their school day in the best possible way. Breakfast gives children the energy needed for the busy school morning, enabling them to focus on their lessons.

Throughout Lockdown, Magic Breakfast has provided our families with cereal and bagels, we are very grateful.

If your child does not attend our Breakfast Club, do not worry, all children have access to playground bagels in the playground in the morning. Middleton St Mary's is commited to ensuring no child is too hungry to learn.
